#whyBTD – Joe Napoletan CI Manager, Georgia
I began working at BTD 2 years ago after 4 years of engineering and managing assembly lines because I wanted to get back to building parts from raw material through a finished product for a customer. My favorite part of explaining what I do is to explain each of the processes that allow us to manufacture complex sheet metal assemblies with precision accuracy. If someone can dream it, the BTD team can find a way to manufacture it or help modify the design into something that can be manufactured.
I’m currently working in continuous improvement which has very open ended responsibilities and I get to work with many different facets of the company. I wanted a place that I could grow with and stay at for many years to come and I’ve found that within BTD. The opportunity to touch multiple aspects of the business has enabled me to see many different avenues for personal and professional growth within the company and also keeps me on my toes. Each day is different and everything can be improved which gives me multiple projects to work on at all times.
